My Life without Me

I took my time with this film. I wanted to watch it quite a while ago but I somehow always found better things to do. In the end I found out that it was worth watching it. A young woman with a loving husband and two daughters discovers that she`s only got a few months to live due to rapidly growing malignous tumours. So she makes a list of things to do before dying. Those include making love to another man than her husband, recording birthday greetings to both of her daughters until they`re 18, finding a new mother for her children and a new wife for her husband. The film is sad, of course, what else could you expect from a film about a young woman dying. But it`s not that heavy stuff as you`d probably think it is. It`s more beautifully sad than simply sad. At least I liked it, not that it means a thing.
