Did you know that at the age of 17 Aivars Lembergs was the champion of Latvia among countryside football teams for his native city of Jēkabpils? And did you know that Lembergs is from Jēkabpils? To me it was a surprise.
Btw., I know that the picture of him as a teenager-footballer is in a very bad quality, it was accidentally that I got it at all and I wasn`t thinking too much about picture quality anyhow.
