Ever had a lucid dream?

Definition:

A lucid dream, also known as a conscious dream, is a dream in which the person is aware that he or she is dreaming while the dream is in progress. During lucid dreams, it is possible to exert conscious control over the dream characters and environment and have them perform feats which would be physically impossible in the waking world. Lucid dreams can be extremely real and vivid depending on a person`s level of self-awareness during the lucid dream.

Controlling my dreams is one ability that I really would like to obtain. It`s not of much practical use, of course, but considering that one spends quite a lot of time sleeping I for one would prefer being the master of my dreams and not let away to some randomness.

Occasionally I do have dreams in which I know that they are only dreams but so far I haven`t really controlled them, so maybe this would be worth trying?

As far as I understand, a significant part of turning into lucid dreaming is improving the dream recall and for that it is recommended to start a dream journal where after waking up you write about your dreams. Perhaps I can start one, as I already have been known to write my dreams down occasionally, but I never had a system for that.

And now a description of a dream I had 2 nights ago:
I was at a "Queen" concert in a very small private club. There were just a people people in the audience. The band suddenly appeared on stage - with Freddie alive and well, he looked just as in the mid-1980s during the "A Kind of Magic Tour", meanwhile Roger Taylor and Brian May were certainly much older - kind of like they were from today, and John Deacon was in the background as always. For some reasons I shook hands with Brian May, and then it all became perfectly clear to me - I was Roger Waters from "Pink Floyd". And I felt good about it. And then I woke up.
