Don`t try suicide?

You know the "Queen" song with this title? It sucks.
But I don`t want to write about the song, but about a completely different subject. This morning I read on the web that in Japan there`s a huge popularity for the so called suicide internet clubs. That is - you go to a chatroom to look for people to perform suicide together with. Sounds creepy, doesn`t it? But there are thousands of people who join these suicide clubs and quite often they do indeed perform group suicide. And the Japanese motivate it with the fact that their religion (unlike Christianity for example) doesn`t prohibit suicide and promise eternal damnation for the ones who off themselves.
By the way the Christian denial of suicide with the argument that it`s only up for God to decide who`s to live and who`s to die is kinda week. Why? How can you be sure that it is the man`s decision to off himself and that it`s not God acting through him? If a brick falls on your head and kills you it`s the God`s will (which you can`t undestand because God works in mysterious ways), but why if you shoot yourself it isn`t God`s will (He works in mysterious ways after all, doesn`t He?)?
Personally I don`t consider suicide a good option to either escape ones problems, avoid misery or pain (only in case of an extremely painful and incurable disease), yet I believe that it`s up to the person in question to decide whether he/she wants to live or die and the society doesn`t play a significant role in this issue.
