A selection of Latvian music

2008-07-11

Being quite a fan of different kinds of music I decided that it`d be neat if I could bring our couchsurfing hosts in Italy discs with a retrospective of various kinds of Latvian music. That is - not a selection of best songs (according to what I call best) from different Latvian artists but a disc where every song would represent a different genre/subgenre of Latvian music, thus allowing the popsiest of pop to be placed next to the heaviest of metal. The disc isn`t complete yet, but I can provide here a blueprint of what I`ve got so far - maybe you can suggest me some better songs by the same artists of by different artists in the same genre (or some vital genres missing, or some songs listed in the wrong genres). The list is in no particular order.
