Who`s Afraid of Virginia Woolf
film — USA — 1966

8.5
Another one of the classics that I thought to need to catch up with. And this one was no disappointment. Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton are great as Martha and George - the crazy couple that lives somewhere between reality and fantasies. Only four actors, almost no change of decorations, and still a great movie. Characters don`t act the way one would expect them to, but are we really that predictable and do rules of logic apply to everyday life? I don`t suppose they do.
Iespējams, ka tieši šai filmai mēģināja līdzīnāties brāļi Koeni, veidojot "The man who wasn`t there", vismaz šāda sajūta man radās.
