Ar "Pirmajā lokā" es pabeidzu savu obligātās literatūras apskatu, kas attiecas uz Aleksandra Solžeņicina daiļradi. Pārmaiņas pēc esmu arī hronoloģiski gājis vairāk vai mazāk pareizi - sāku ar viņa pirmo publicēto darbu - "Vienu dienu Ivana Deņisoviča dzīvē", tad nāca "Vēža korpuss" un visubeidzot - "Pirmajā lokā".

Here`s a status update for my ongoing "projects" (mostly those are useless hobbies but the word "projects" sounds nice):

Patiesībā es nemaz nezinu, kā tas sagadījās, ka es tiku pie šī Pola Baterfīlda ieraksta. Droši ir tas, ka tas manā krājumā parādījās ilgāku laiku pirms dzirdēju par to kaut ko raidījumā "Saknes" stāstam mūsu tagadējo premjerministru. Es gan neesmu arī tik ļoti pārliecināts, ka tiešām esmu dzirdējis Godmani runājam par Baterfīldu, bet tā man šķiet gan.

Yesterday when we played Cluedo and all almost simultaneously came to the final conclusion (if I got it correctly, me, Zingis and Marina got the solution first, while Liene and Sergejs at least partly came to it from our behaviour), the game turned into a run for the room where you should make the accusation and win the game (as it is the room where the murder was committed). However each of us was too far to reach the room in one turn, so when anyone would come closer to the entrance of THE MURDER ROOM some other player would simply call the fastest runner to some other room. So nobody could win the game and we decided to end it in a draw. Actually I had never thought before that an outcome like this could be possible in this game.

Šodien, klausoties Timu Bakliju, es kārtējo reizi pārliecinājos par to, cik labs kopumā ir mans briesmīgi ilglaicīgais projekts - noklausīties visus savas kolekcijas ierakstus, jo epizodiski šādā veidā es uztrāpu kaut kam, kas mani uzrunā par visiem simts un ko es citādi diez vai būtu saņēmies noklausīties. Ņemsim par piemēru šo ierakstu - Tima Baklija debijas albumu. Es nez kāpēc biju pārliecināts, ka tas būs kaut kāds absolūti bezpersonisks folkmūzikas dziesmu apkopojums, banāls un truls šo vārdu vissliktākajā nozīmē, bet praksē tas izrādījās pavisam kas cits. Protams, tikpat labi tas būtu varējis izrādīties nepatīkams pārsteigums, gluži kā tas bija ar Lī Heizlvūdu pirms nedaudzām dienām, taču Baklijs mani patiešām pārsteidza tieši tā, kā es būtu vēlējies tikt pārsteigts.
